The Tale of The Treecerman

The Treecerman grew up on a farm in the country. He had such a Blessed Childhood, loving parents, thousands of adventures on the fifty acre family fun, learning the value of hard work, building a huge comic book collection and loving the medium of radio.

He envisioned radio studios as a huge room, filled with monitors where the on air person had a front row seat to events happening all around the world! Also, with a HUGE monitor where they could see the performer whose song was on the air. Boy, was he wrong about that!!

Treecerman has interviewed the biggest names in music, tv and movies. He was on the air the evening we moved against Saddam Hussein. A very intense evening where the regular show went out the window. He tracked music while listening to live coverage on the instudio monitor and reported back to the
audience what he had learned.

There was one April Fools Morning back in the nineties when Treecerman pranked his audience by imitating a janitor who filled in for him when he had not arrived for work. He was able to change his voice enough to fool all the listeners over the course of a 6 hour shift. He bumbled his way through weather reports, left plenty of dead air and cleared his throat every time he opened the mic. In 40 years on air, this was the one and
only April Fools Prank he ever played on his audience. (Note: Home Town Radio Stations do not have janitors.)

Though a slow learner, Treecerman eventually discovered the way to great morning radio is to play the best music and give the local audience information about their community as well as interesting content they may
not hear anywhere else.

He is proud to return with The Treecerman Morning Theatre!
